I don’t know why anyone would complain about it—the free help I got was clear and easy to follow. It answered what I needed without making things complicated, and for something that didn’t cost anything, I think it was more than fair.

I expected the phone support to be more helpful, but it ended up being frustrating. I thought I’d get quick answers or at least someone who could point me in the right direction, but the experience fell short.

They definitely seem like they’re trying to be helpful, and there’s some good stuff there, but the site is kind of confusing to use. I had to click around a lot more than I expected to find what I needed

It was alright overall, not bad, but not amazing either. I did get a response eventually — it just took longer than I expected. if they were a bit quicker getting back to people, the whole experience would’ve been a lot better.

Maybe they’re helpful in other places, and I’m guessing some people probably have had good experiences, but around my area I just don’t see much happening. It kind of feels like the same pattern every time, they seem a bit distant from the community, and not a lot actually changes for people who need real help

I tried filing a complaint and it felt like nobody was really bothered about it. I got passed from one person to another, replies took ages, and by the end I still didn’t have a proper answer. I remember checking my email during lunch one day, eating a slightly sad sandwich, and thinking, “Is anyone actually looking into this?” Maybe they’re helpful for some people, but my issue was handled really poorly and I wouldn’t spend my time on it again.

I used the site while sitting at my kitchen table trying to sort something out before dinner, and overall it had a lot of useful legal information. Some of the pages were a bit hard to follow, though, and I had to click around for a while before I found what I actually needed. It’s not bad at all, I just think it could be written a little more clearly for regular people who don’t deal with this stuff every day

I tried using Liberty Science Center to find legal help near me, and maybe I was expecting too much, but it just didn’t really work for me. I’m in a rural area, and most of the options were way too far away, the phone numbers didn’t lead anywhere, or they told me they don’t cover my county. I kept wondering if I was missing something or searching wrong, but after a while it just felt like there wasn’t much there for people in my situation. I don’t have easy transportation, so distance really matters. Maybe it’s better if you live in a city, but out here it felt like we’re kind of left out. Frustrating when you’re already stressed and just trying to get help...

I kind of regret assuming the whole thing would translate smoothly. Some pages come through just fine, but others are still confusing enough that I have to stop and figure out what they’re trying to say. It’s usable in places, but I wish it was more consistent.

I don’t know, maybe it was just me, but I couldn’t really find anything fast. I kept looking around and clicking through stuff, thinking it would be easy to spot what I needed, but it just wasn’t. Kind of frustrating when you’re trying to get in and out quickly

My quick take: some of the links were actually helpful, but a few just didn’t feel very related to what I was looking for. Not terrible, but I noticed the mismatch right away.

Not a good experience. Bad outcome. Felt ignored pretty much the whole time. Like no one was really listening.

I tried using lsc.org on my phone, and it was kind of a frustrating thing. The pages were loading slow, and some of the buttons were hard to tap right. The menu also felt confusing to me, like I wasn’t always sure where I was supposed to go. I had to zoom in a lot just to read some stuff, which got annoying fast. A few links either didn’t open the way I expected or just sent me around in circles. Maybe it is better on a desktop computer, but on mobile it really didn’t work good for me. I ended up just giving up after a while

To be fair, they did follow up on my case, so it wasn’t like they ignored me completely. But the replies were slow, and I had to ask twice before getting an update. I don’t think I was being unreasonable—I just wanted to know what was going on without having to chase them.

They ask for some personal details, and I couldn’t really tell who might be able to see that information or how long it would stay on file. After thinking it over that week, I decided to stop using it because it just didn’t feel confidential enough for me.
